Spotty Media is a digital marketing agency which provides informed and focused support for businesses in the food, drink and hospitality sector, who wish to increase awareness of their brand and engage with new and existing audiences 

We only work in this sector as we believe it is crucial that we understand the context, behavior and objectives of those within it in order to provide the best support.   

Spotty Media’s roots started back in 2016, when journalist, Georga Spottiswood, set up the business as a publishing company – printing Savour Magazine and establishing www.savour-magazine.co.uk – offering food, drink and travel brands marketing services. 

In 2020, Valda Goodfellow wanted to add her expertise and passion to Spotty Media’s aim to help food and drink-based businesses adapt to this changing digital world. Together with her husband, Paul, and Georga, the trio transformed Spotty Media into a digital agency, securing clients immediately due to their reputation and passion for building brands. 

Valda is founder of Goodfellow and Goodfellow – with husband Paul. Together, their experience covers building brands, managing high quality businesses and an in-depth understanding of how the hospitality industry works from the inside. Their customer list includes the many of the UK’s best chefs, restaurateurs and contract caterers.

Food, drink and travel journalist Georga Spottiswood has worked with artisanal food and drink companies to increase brand awareness, website traffic and customers through creative campaigns. She also works with leading venues and hotels on strategic growth campaigns. She has also been commissioned by the Japanese Government to write about food and culture in the Chubu region of Japan, worked with San Diego Tourism Authority to promote Cali-baja cuisine and works with BID companies on projects to drive footfall and spend into regional economies.  

Now the trio are disrupting Digital Marketing and the Agency is the first of its kind in the North, specialising in food and drink.
